Alert : City of Rocky River - Snow Ban Reminder

Rocky River - Snow Ban Reminder

In anticipation of heavy snowfall, the following is a reminder from the City of Rocky River: a parking ban law is in effect when two inches of snow fall during a twenty-four hour period. Please be aware that the parking ban automatically goes into effect when accumulation of snow reaches two (2) inches at which time parking on City streets is prohibited.  Resident cooperation is appreciated as it allows emergency response vehicles and snow removal crews the ability to get through the streets during the snow storm.  The City automatically lifts the parking ban once all side streets are plowed and snow accumulation has ceased.

With this snowfall –nighttime temperatures are expected drop creating extremely cold conditions.  Be prepared if going outdoors and remember to keep pets inside as much as possible.  Thank you.
